This 340 bhp, V-12, vintage 1984 Ferrari 512 BBi is one of the last hand-built Ferraris of this condition around. Recently put up for sale in Monterey through RM Sotheby’s, it’s expected to fetch between $375,000 and $450,000. In 2000, with around 35,000 kilometres on the odometer, it was handed over to the experts at Kurt Hugelshofer’s Rosso Corsa Ferrari Service for a comprehensive restoration. Kurt and his team did a fantastic job, five-speed manual, front and rear independent suspension with dual coil springs and an anti-roll bar both front and rear, and four-wheel ventilated disc brakes. A car of this grandeur is aching to be driven, having only been on the road a total of three times after its restoration.
