Finally it’s Friday afternoon, time for a wind down watch post. We spent the majority of last night going through our Ebay ‘Watch’ list and pulled out our favourite offerings for your potential enjoyment. We’ve picked a great range of brands and budgets from vintage to modern so you’re in the know. Do your wrist a favour gents and keep an eye on some of these beauties!
Jaeger-LeCoultre Ultra Thin: In my opinion one of the best and most accessible dress watches on the market today. This would be a steal under $4000.
Omega Speedmaster Chronograph Cal.861: The original ‘Moon Watch’ and the purist’s vintage Omega Speedmaster with box. If it stays under $2000 you’ll be laughing.
IWC Automatic Cal.853: 1960’s classic that will impress forever. Could blow out with lots of interested parties but worth a consideration just above the $1000 mark.
Blancpain Villeret: My house mate has one and I’m obsessed. Timeless and elegant – perfect combo. I saw one on the forums for $4850 a few months ago so keep that in mind if bidding.
Vintage Rolex Explorer 1 Ref 5500: The 3-6-9 dial Explorer is considered a must have for any Rolex Fan. There will be a lot of people watching this one!
Tudor Black Bay: You can’t buy this watch in store in Australia because they sell out the moment they arrive. Make an offer, awesome watch.
Audemars Piguet Royal Oak 15400ST: I just included this for all those gents out there looking for a watch around the $10k mark. Yep you can afford an AP!
