Virgin Holidays in conjunction with Virgin Atlantic are giving guests the last day of their holidays back, with the world’s first Departure Beach in Barbados.
Designed to help tourists make the most of their final day of freedom, The Departure Beach at Brownes Beach boasts a beach bar and restaurant, private air-conditioned lounge, wifi, gaming areas, check-in facilities and premium bathroom and shower suites.
Passengers will be picked up from their respective hotels with their check in baggage taken care of immediately, and boarding passes issued while you tan. Complimentary beach towels are included as well as bags to store wet swimmers.
Nicki Goldsmith, Head of Caribbean and Worldwide Product at Virgin Holidays, said: “Virgin Holidays has consistently launched ‘world-first’ concepts, and this latest innovation is no different. We can’t wait to launch this very exciting development next year, and hope our customers are as excited about it as we are.”
Entry is complimentary for any customers staying at Savannah Beach in Barbados or on a Virgin cruise that terminates on the island. Other Virgin Atlantic travellers can pay their way in for £20, which includes a buffet lunch with non-alcoholic drinks.
Construction of The Departure Beach kicks off soon, with the facility due to open in May 2018.
