This weekend the inaugural Taste of Sydney food festival returns to Centennial Park from the 13th-16th March.
With gastronomic taste sensations to suit everyone’s culinary desires, Taste of Sydney will see over 15 top dining destinations featured as well as over 100 artisan producers and exhibitors offering a range of tasty treats.
The first of Taste of Sydney’s huge restaurant line-up includes: Chur Burger, who will create a bespoke ‘Taste’ burger especially for the event; Newtown local Bloodwood; Taste of Sydney favourites Popolo, 4Fourteen and Four in Hand; and Bowral’s Biota Dining and Jonah’s Whale Beach who will return to Taste of Sydney’s ‘Destination Dining’ roster.
Four days of incredible food and wine offerings will see festival-goers sip, sample and taste from over 60 specially selected menu items from Taste restaurants plus delicious produce from Australian and international gourmet exhibitors. In addition to eating and drinking their way through the festival, visitors can take a leaf out of the books of some of Sydney’s top chefs and industry experts, with a series of tasting master classes, cooking schools and chef demonstrations. Festival-goers more inclined to sit back and soak up the atmosphere can check out live bands, entertainment and fun pop-up attractions designed by the likes of Rekorderlig and Dilmah.
