Whether you call it fate or coincidence, I think dropping by Suitsupply on Broome St on the first day you’re in New York City only to bump into the VP and be invited upstairs to glance at plans for a rumoured Sydney store that landed on his desk that very morning is a pretty awesome turn of events. (We all thought it was anyway!)
Following our meeting with the team, they’ve given us the opportunity to be the first publication to run the campaign for the new Suitsupply SS15 collection which we’re pretty excited about.
For Spring Summer 2015 Suitsupply decided to develop their 2013 Rijksmuseum concept and head to sunny South Africa for a unique underwater photoshoot. Standing above Cape Town’s coastline in an amazing house, models took to the infinity pool dressed head to toe in linen blazers, herringbone vests and cutaway collars.
Through the lens of renowned Dutch photographer Carli Hermes, the aim was to illustrate the concept of going into the unknown. The resulting shoot is a collection of mythical menswear and buoyant bodies captured amongst beguiling bubbles and bold imagery. Enjoy.
