We’ve covered Mere a couple of times prior on TVG and for good reason. This Manly born and bred brand is doing great things for the men’s fashion industry by producing amazing quality leather goods and continually pushing creative boundaries. What started with shoes has evolved into a beautiful range of bags and accessories with a focus on quality materials and workmanship.
Over the weekend I visited The Annex in Bondi to get a first hand look at the new Mere range, which dropped only a few weeks ago. The colour and texture of their leather is what initially set Mere apart from other shoe companies, and the AW14 collection is no different. Their distinctive earthy tones and trademark triangle detailing are enough to create a personalised touch on their footwear without the need for a logo or label. After trying on a few pairs I can personally vouch for their comfort and I’m confident even the most fashion conservative could find themselves in a pair within minutes.
