LeBron James wearing a Rolex? After LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers had won the NBA Championship, they held the customary parade. Obviously, all eyes are on James. Then somebody noticed he wasn’t wearing an AP. James is a long time Audemars Piguet ambassador and even has his own Royal Oak Offshore Chronograph. For the majority of James thirteen year career, and every post match interview, he can be seen sporting an Audemars Piguet, but why not now?
During the championship parade, James decided to give the Audemars Piguet a miss. I guess the excitement of wearing a $51,000 AP can fade, no hard feelings Audemars. James decided to rock a now discontinued 41 mm Rolex Day-Date II. Apparently, a slightly larger version of the classic Day-Date, in 18k yellow gold with a fluted bezel, black dial, and Roman numerals. This is the first time LeBron James has been spotted wearing something other than an Audemars Piguet for a while, but I’m sure it was just a celebratory change up.
