We were lucky enough to be invited to a stunning private residence in Rushcutters Bay for the launch of the Johnnie Walker Red Label Mix Project. The project is a unique collaboration with Tony Conigliaro, expert innovator in the drinks space and one of the world’s leading authorities on modernist mixology.
Tony has redefined how people drink and appreciate Red Label, deconstructing the bold, characterful flavour profile of Red Label and pairing it with a host of flavours and ingredients, experimenting in unique style using the Drink Factory, part of his London establishment 69 Colebrooke Row. Drawing on mixology trends from around the world and exploring the Australian flavour landscape, Tony has curated a dazzling collection of mixed drinks for The Red Label Mix Project – highlighting the vibrant serves and premium mixed drinks that Johnnie Walker Red Label can deliver and redefining mixed Scotch Whisky drinks for Australia.
The four creations by Tony and his team will served at the Johnnie Walker marquee over the Spring Racing period and will change all the preconceptions you’ve ever had about Johnnie Walker Red Label.
