The new James Bond film title was announced today and following our article yesterday it has been confirmed Bond will be back in an Aston Martin, not just a Fiat 500.
The new Aston Martin, called the DB10 has been created especially for the film and was revealed on the 007 stage at Pinewood Studios in England overnight. It was designed by Aston Martin‘s chief creative officer Marek Reichman, but he and his team worked closely with the film’s director, Sam Mendes, to get the design right for Bond. It also gives an idea of the design direction in which Aston Martin will head for future cars, with industry rumours suggesting that it gives a vague idea of what the next generation Vantage will look like.
Only ten DB10s will be made, although it’s not clear whether they’ll be sold or only used on the film, which is called Spectre. The movie is scheduled for release in November 2015.
