In light of last week’s Whisky Show and yesterday’s post about Jim Murray’s Whisky Bible, TVG thought it would be suitable to inform you gentlemen about next week’s Whisky Masterclass hosted by Dan Woolley (World of Whisky Ambassador) at the Imperial Hotel in Paddington.
It’s clear that the Imperial are trying to step up their whisky game with 12 new additions to the bar menu including Benromach 10yr (more on that tomorrow!), Tullibardine 18yr, Miltonduff 10yr, Talisker 18yr, Caol Ila 12yr among others. This masterclass solidifies the venues keen interest in promoting quality products and educating their patrons about whisky.
The first event is an introductory class outlining the specific whisky producing regions in Scotland with region specific classes to follow. Tickets are $50 a head sampling 6 whiskies from the 6 main production regions served with cheese and cured meats. TVG will be attending with their Whisky Bible in hand and if Dan’s selection at last weeks Whisky Show is anything to go by there will be some delicious whiskies to taste at this event.
