As a reminder of the incredible landscape found in Northern Europe, filmmaker James Aiken sends us this beautiful short film, “Home Ground”. Aiken’s words best describe his film, “Shot during a nautical voyage between Iceland and Greenland, it is a short anthropological film exploring how two very different, but geographically close, cultures relate to one another within a striking and vast natural landscape.” Featuring an Icelandic sailor, Siggi, and a Greenlandic hunter, Dines, this striking film is most definitely worth five minutes of your time. Check out Aiken’s website for more films and breathtaking photography from his travels.
