Frank Sinatra’s NYC Penthouse

Thankfully, due to the world’s obsession with expensive real estate and celebrities, the internet has been alive with images of Frank Sinatra’s New York City penthouse that has returned to market for $6 million US. The 3,200-square-foot apartment designed by the man himself in 1961 served as his primary residence until 1972 and was dubbed a “glittering grotto in the sky” by fellow Manhattanite Andy Warhol.

Since a large renovation in 2008 the apartment boasts four bedrooms, six bathrooms, floor to ceiling windows with a loft master bedroom, contemporary glass features and gourmet kitchen with two large wraparound balconies with expansive views of the East River. Suffice to say this penthouse is going to get some serious attention, not just because it’s amazing but because it was owned by one of the coolest gents of all time.
