Four-Pins NYC Summer Street Style by George Elder

When Monday rolls back around there’s one post I always make sure I click on and that’s George Elder’s street style gallery from the previous week, which he publishes on Four-Pins. In the last couple of years street style has been overshadowed by one event, Pitti, and to be honest it’s getting a tad dull watching guys try and out peacock each other in Ambrosi trousers with 5 inch waistbands.

What I love about George’s galleries is the range of menswear, not just bespoke tailoring. Summer in NYC brings out plenty of characters, plenty of colours and most importantly, plenty of styles. You might not like them all but it’s important to remind yourself what else is going on because there’s life outside a double breasted suit.

Here’s a few of my favourite shots from the last 2 months.
