ESPA Life Spa at Corinthia Hotel London is essentially as good as spas gets. The two time winner of the Conde Nast Traveller Reader’s Travel Award for Best UK Hotel Spa is one of the cities most tranquil spaces set beneath the busy streets of London.
Spread over four floors, the spa features 17 treatment rooms, 24 hour gym, a private spa suite, nail studio, indoor swimming pool, vitality pool, and amazing amphitheatre sauna, ice fountain, marble heated loungers and private sleep pods and relaxation areas. On top of this each of the male and female changing areas have their own sauna and steam room with relaxation areas offering fresh fruit and snacks. Upstairs the spa café offers light, nutritious refreshments for rush hour clients who need to get back to the daily grind.
On my recent visit to the Corinthia Hotel I spent an afternoon inside the Spa and received an 80 minute massage which began with a personal consultation and sensory test to ensure a bespoke treatment was provided. The therapist tested various essentials oils and how I reacted to them, then asked questions about stress and work life balance before choosing a blend of oils for my treatment to suit my specific needs.
If you’re staying at Corinthia a treatment at ESPA Life is an absolute must. If you’re a London resident I couldn’t recommend it more highly for a midweek escape and rejuvenate.
