In October Disaronno & Versace partnered together for a very special collaborative launch of Disaronno Wears Versace & we were invited along to Palazzo Versace Gold Coast for the celebrations.
After our flights we exchanged our slightly hesitant introductions, checking the credentials of the other attending journalists – “Hello, I’m Tommy from The Versatile Gent & I am a nice person”. However, after a few Disaronno Sours during The Official Welcome Lunch in Vie Bar, the characters became honest people & the table conversation somehow led to our efforts breaking into rock-shows as underage fanboys/girls.
The highlight of the weekend was dinner in the exclusive Imperial Suite with a menu designed by Palazzo Versace Executive Chef, Oliver Cortez. Each course was served with a different cocktail specifically imagined to compliment the cuisine. Or maybe the food was created to fit with the cocktails. Either way, the menu seamlessly progressed from entree to dessert, entertaining its guests with every taste. We were guided through some of Disaronnos 489 years of history & provided with the instruments & expertise to become our very own cocktail making experts during the Disaronno Masterclass.
The focus of the weekend was the unveiling of the beautiful, Versace designed, limited edition bottle for Disaronno. Two of the most iconic Italian brands coming together – “combining the classic shape of the Disaronno bottle with signature decadence of Versace fashions, the design takes its inspiration from the blue, gold & white motifs of the Versace Home Collection”.
Disaronno wears Versace is available in stores now.
