In autumn 2004, Common Projects released their first collection, ‘Achilles by Common Projects,’ which consisted of one low-top leather sneaker named the Achilles available in white, grey and black. Ten years on the brand has become an indubitable giant introducing new styles and building both a dedicated fan base and retail network.
Prathan Poopat and Flavio Girolami’s foundation Achilles shoe will hit stores this summer in eight colour ways alongside a host of other styles including high tops, derby shoes, slip ons and boots. As usual the focus is on classic and timeless, offering individuality with rich colours and CP’s signature gold numbering. It’s impressive to see a decade after their launch, they are staying true to their classic designs, avoiding trends and ensuring the quality remains as consistent as the day they launched.
