Clarkson, Hammond, May sign with Amazon

It’s official! Former Top Gear host Jeremy Clarkson has penned a deal with Amazon, who muscled out ITV and Netflix, to present a new motoring show alongside his old pals Richard Hammond and James May. The show which is yet to be named (the Top Gear brand belongs to the BBC) will reunite the trio with former executive producer of Top Gear Andy Wilman for a three-series deal.

At this stage the show will air on Amazon’s subscription streaming service Prime which Australian’s don’t have access to, not that it’ll stop anyone from watching it via various VPNs!

Production on the first series will begin soon and it will launch next year.
