Crowe Metal Co and Clockwork Motorcycles would normally cause some headache for a potential customer who wants their dream motorcycle, which one to go with? Well, one customer has sorted this issue out, get a subframe from James Crowe’s Crowe Metal Co. and take it to Sam Guertin of Clockwork Motorcycles. These two have worked together to create a fantastic BMW R100 Cross Country tourer.
To create the BMW R100 Cross Country the boys stripped down the R100 and fitted with the new subframe and luggage racks in the rear. New Suzuki DR650 front forks, while the stock wheels were powder-coated in black and wrapped in a pair of Continental TKC80s, allowing on road or offroad riding. A new set of handlebars, controls, and throttles were also installed courtesy of Crowe Metal Co. Clockwork soda blasted the engine and upgraded it with a pair of Mikuni TM38 flat slide carbs and a custom exhaust system. The bike was capped off with a set of waterproof waxed canvas bags.
