The Hayberry Bar and Diner, one of the best burgers Sydney doesn’t know about. Sydney is obsessed with burgers! With new burger spots opening up all around Sydney the competition fiercens. Each spot is doing their best to give us the supreme burger. The Fatties Burger Appreciation Society Facebook page has doubled in size since I joined, now with 67 thousand burger loving individuals. That’s a lot of people on the hunt for their dream burger.
The Hayberry, located in Crows Nest, is one of the best burgers Sydney has to offer, they are a must! Thirteen highly underrated burgers to choose from, meaning there is something for any mood. The Classic is the standard beef burger. Beef, cheese, diced onions, pickles, American mustard and ketchup – so simple, so good. Fancy some bacon? You can opt for the Cheesy Bacon, special with an extra patty. If you’re not feeling beef, try the HAY.F.C. Fried chicken, bacon, lettuce, swiss cheese and hickory mayo, and rivals the likes of Chicken and Sons. Every burger comes with a side of the best waffle fries you can find, the perfect combination of crunchy and soft, completing the whole meal. Very reasonably priced, with no burger being over $20. Pints of beer will drive up the bill, but you can’t put a price on memories. Southern fried chicken chips and spicy buffalo wings ($1 on a Thursday night) a great option if you need a little something extra.
I have tried plenty of burgers around Sydney and can happily say The Hayberry is up there with the best.
