Mercedes-AMG has released two new editions for G-Class models prior to the unveiling of the all new G-Class which is rumoured to be launching in 2018.
The first ‘designo manufaktur Edition’ features an interior upgrade and unique 19″ wheels for the G500 and G350d. Obsidian black trim and designo black Nappa leather with contrast stitching will be available alongside three exterior colours; designo Mystic White, designo Magma Red and Obsidian Black.
The ‘Exclusive Edition’ has been designed specifically for the G63 and G65. The G63, which we get here in Australia, will receive matte black wheels on 21inch tyres. Inside the G63 Exclusive Edition gets a complete makeover by the in-house designo department. Seats can be either solid, two-tone Nappa leather, or a raucous mixture of two leather colours with a centre section of black carbon leather. A color-matched steering wheel is the only leather that is not diamond stitched, which will make these G’s stand out among all the competition. Both models will receive “Mercedes me connect” which offers emergency calling and roadside assistance.
