The 2015 Galpin-Fisker Mustang Rocket, based on the 2015 Mustang GT, previewed in November last year at the LA Auto Show but has finally been confirmed to hit the production line for somewhere north of US$100k.
Power has almost doubled from the Mustang’s standard 418hp to a whopping 725hp. Designed by Mr Henry Fisker (Aston Martin DB9 and BMW Z8 fame – you can see hints of Aston Martin in the Rocket’s grille) the menacing carbon fiber bodywork and sculpted fenders provide rugged lines and an aggressive stance. The car also features a carbon fiber splitter and side skirts as well as a ram air hood, 21-inch wheels with Pirelli P-Zero rubber putting the power on the road. Under the frame the Rocket sports adjustable suspension from Steeda and Brembo brakes as well as a Whipple supercharger and Magnaflow exhaust.
