1967 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ45LV

Believe it or not, there were only a thousand Toyota Land Cruiser FJ45LV models imported into the United States back in the day, meaning they became very sought after. The FJ Company has restored plenty of Land Cruisers, but when this opportunity came along, they jumped at it with a greater level of optimism. Claimed to be one of the rarest of all 40 models of Land Cruiser, this restoration project was first embarked on by a gentleman, who tragically had to give up his passion project due to health issues.

The FJ Company got this beast with some body rust, but generally in good condition, most of the original parts still with it, including the engine and transmission. According to The FJ Company, the man who started this restoration had collected other parts over a ten-year span, making the job a lot easier. A thorough nut and bolt restoration took place along with some new interior work, and a Capri Blue and White two tone paint job to finish it off!

Unfortunately, before the restoration was completed, this Toyota Land Cruiser FJ45LV had already been purchased, a buyer from Dubai got his hands on it. It’s sad that one man’s dream project slipped away from him, but satisfying knowing it was eagerly accepted by another, able to finish it with equal passion and quality.
